Buttery Vegan Garlic Bread

PREP 5 MIN / COOK 5-10 MIN

INGREDIENTS

1 Italian baguette

4 teaspoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons vegan butter

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Fresh dill and parsley to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat broiler.

  • Slice baguette in half (from tip to tip).

  • In a medium sized bowl mix the garlic, olive oil, dill, and parsley.

  • Broil the sliced baguette for 1.5 minutes (watch closely to avoid burns).

  • Preheat oven to 275°.

  • Spread the mixture on the bread. Cut the bread into servable slices,

and butter the sides of each slice generously.

  • Place seasoned and buttered bread slices in the oven on 275° for 3-5 minutes.
